How to cook Pinoy Pork Adobo
Now this dish is very common to Filipinos. This is an important know-how as a Filipino, so here it is.
Ingredients:
- 1clove garlic(chopped)
- 1pc onion(chopped)
- 1 1/2 kl pork loin (bite-size cuts)
- 3/4 cup vinegar
- 1 tbsp fishsauce (patis)
- 1/2 cup soy sauce
- 1 pc bayleaf
- 1 tsp freshly ground pepper
- 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes
- 1 pinch salt
Instructions for cooking:
- Add 2 tpbs of oil in pan.
- Saute garlic and onions in medium heat.
- Add in the seasonings.
- Stir in the pork.
- Add in vinegar, soysauce and fishsauce. Mix.
- Cover and simmer for approx. 1-1.5 hrs stirring occasionally.
- Top on rice.

PDI survey: sinigang is RP’s national dish, my fave adobo’s far 3rd, but adobo is not authentic pinoy it’s pouguese

Adobo, FTW!!! The Pinoy national dish is Sinigang. http://bit.ly/d5IQG2 I’ve always thought it’s the usual suspect, Adobo.
