How to cook Pinoy Pork Adobo

Pinoy Pork adobo InthePhilippines.netNow this dish is very common to Filipinos. This is an important know-how as a Filipino, so here it is.

Ingredients:

  • 1clove garlic(chopped)
  • 1pc onion(chopped)
  • 1 1/2 kl pork loin (bite-size cuts)
  • 3/4 cup vinegar
  • 1 tbsp fishsauce (patis)
  • 1/2 cup soy sauce
  • 1 pc bayleaf
  • 1 tsp freshly ground pepper
  • 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes
  • 1 pinch salt

Instructions for cooking:

  1. Add 2 tpbs of oil in pan.
  2. Saute garlic and onions in medium heat.
  3. Add in the seasonings.
  4. Stir in the pork.
  5. Add in vinegar, soysauce and fishsauce. Mix.
  6. Cover and simmer for approx. 1-1.5 hrs stirring occasionally.
  7. Top on rice.
